We are happy to help you out with your English improvement! OC Language Center offers our original method to learn English effectively and quickly. We have designed a course specifically tailored for English education and we you will enjoy learning a new language!

KIDS FUN COURSE (Ages 2 to 5 years old)
In this course, students will learn Basic English conversation with their parents. Lessons are based on various activities including learning nursery songs and chants, singing, dancing and playing games and phonics. We design this course so that young students are able to enjoy the lessons without realizing they are studying. At the end of this course, all students will be surprised how fast they have improved their English skills. We also offer the lessons at outdoor sites (such as parks), so students are able to learn English by playing.

ELEMENTARY COURSE (1^st Grade to 6^th Grade)
Need some help for your children with English skills? We are very happy to help the student catch up to the proper grade level. Elementary schools In California  offer only one year of ESL classes, and that can leave many students lacking fundamental English skills.  Our program is designed for non- native English speakers, and you will learn well-balanced English skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Besides ESL classes, we also offer the essay class for preparation for the entrance examination in Japan.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL COURSE
All Students who are learning English for the first time are at a natural disadvantage, and can experience difficulty in keeping up with the schools here. We are happy to help you with your studies and English education as well. We identify the areas that afford an opportunity to learn, explore your placement test results, and design the curriculum specifically for you. OC Language Center wants you to be able to enjoy your school life!

GOING BACK TO JAPAN COURSE (6^th Grade through High School)
You will be very surprised when you go back to Japan. Why?  English education here and in Japan is totally different. Most students who go back to Japan experience difficulty assimilating into the Japanese educational system.  Specifically, they have difficulties in the English classes.  The reason for this is that English language classes in Japan are taught by native Japanese speakers, and not by native English speakers.  All of the terminology applied to the English studies is done with a Japanese influence and level of understanding.  This confuses students who studied English and other courses here in the United States.  OC Language Center countered this problem by designing a course specifically for people who are going back to Japan. Students will learn English grammar in Japanese and you will be able to learn all grammatical terminology in Japanese. We also educate all students to translate some passages from Japanese to English, and English to Japanese. At the end of this course, we know all students are ready to go to school in Japan!

ADULT COURSE (High School to Adult)
Our Adult course is custom designed to meet individual needs and goals. Curriculum is designed based on a combination of factors such as: your proficiency level, your proficiency goals, and your job-related English needs. We also design role-play situations to match your use of English in everyday life and in the workplace. We can prepare you for giving presentations, engaging in telephone conversations, corresponding with business email, faxes and more. We are also happy to have group lessons!

EIKEN PREP COURSE (All Ages)
Planning to go back to Japan? Need some skills for the entrance examination? Eiken is becoming very popular and one of the most effective skills when you apply for schools in both Japan and US. http://www.eiken.or.jp/  At the first class meeting, all students take a placement test to determine their level of understanding, and what areas they may have that present opportunities from improvement.  We custom design the curriculum for each student to be able to pass the Eiken exam. Students will take 3 different prep tests before taking the Eiken exam. We highly recommend that the student take this course for 8-10 weeks prior to the exam.  We also offer preparation for 2^nd interview exams.
